![]() With that said, again as the service provider it is your job to understand what systems have what limitations, the why doesn't really matter, I am sure Microsoft has a reason for it, but it is the way it is, and if they have a need for more than 20,000 files to be stored in the cloud then One Drive is not the right solution for them. ![]() One Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive, none of those are backup systems and as an IT Service Provider you are going to be putting your customers in harms way by convincing them that cloud storage is in fact backup, and you would find yourself legally liable for that damage. Backup implies versioning, data protection guarantees, etc, etc. Again I have a very large problem with you referring to onedrive as Backup, it isn't a "whatever you'd like to call it" thing, it IS NOT BACKUP, and it is disingenuous to refer to it as that.
